BlurZone collects absolutely no personal data. The extension does not track you, does not read your browsing history, and does not access your content.

2. How the Extension Works

BlurZone operates entirely within your browser. Here is what it stores locally on your device only:

• Your blur intensity setting (a number between 2–30)
• Your proximity setting (a number between 50–400)

Blur zone selections (the rectangles you draw) are stored only in memory and are cleared when you close or refresh the tab. They are never written to disk or transmitted anywhere.

3. Data Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties because we do not collect any data in the first place.

4. Permissions Explained

• activeTab — required to inject the blur overlay into the current tab when you activate it
• storage — used only to remember your blur and proximity settings locally

5. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date above. Continued use of the extension constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
